THE STORY BEHIND TABOïKAA

Taboïkaa is synonymous with integrity and represents the strength of Mother Nature.  It was my grandmother maiden name, a woman of strength, determination and botanical knowledge that used to make me drink bitter medicine. As I grew up in the country in the summer, I smelled and harvested various plants, that I put in my herbarium with various notes about their habitat. Later, I played with my parents cosmetics to invent new potions. In 1983, I lived the Japanese lifestyle for 3 years in Tokyo and learned a lot about Traditional Oriental Medicine and acupressure. It is only in 1987, that I discovered the power of herbal knowledge and aromatherapy while visiting the Village in New York City. This was the beginning of a love story for plants, the creation of infused oils, perfumes and face products. I combine years of experience working in cosmetic laboratories with hands on treatments and training as well as studies of natural products. I am an aesthetician, aromatherapist and naturopath. The concept of the Taboïkaa products is to provide a physical nourishment with the best ingredients, combined with olfactive wellbeing and holistic stimulation. This, delivered by a regular skin regimen, as a global 360' approach that unifies the Physical, the Mind and the Soul.
