Following on Saturn Neptune and essential oils for inertia
Saturn the stern father of structure does not get along well with Neptunian idealism... At this moment though, you have no choice than to give room for each of these guys..Imagination or artistic ideas may not run in ways that are connected to reality or our structure has difficulty with the Murphy's law of disappointment...
Suggestion: Ride it like a captain at sea facing an approaching storm..you are the captain of your boat. Giving up control of wanting to hold tight for a specific result is difficult, scary but the only way to ride this peacefully and will be very liberating.
Aromatherapy suggestion:
Depressed energies: Citrus like Bergamote and Petigrain essential oils
Inspiration: Wear a garnet
Low energy: Ginger either in food or essential oil
Important and disclaimer:
Always dilute essential oils in a natural oil base. Avoid wearing any citrus essential oils if you go in the sun.

AYURVEDA and ASTROLOGICAL TRANSITS
VATA : Mercury, Uranus, Saturn
PITTA : Mars, Pluto, Sun, Jupiter
KAPHA : Venus, Moon, Jupiter, Neptune
Specific astrological transits of the planets to our natal ones can bring about an increase in one of our natural dosha. For example, a hard transit of Uranus to a natal Mercury can increase Vata. If we have a nervous temperament or a fragile Vata constitution, we may feel more nervous and agitated, our mind may be frazzled caused by too much thinking or communication influx. In this case, a pacifying Vata diet would be advised to calm and stabilize. A nice Abhyanga massage would be reassuring and conforting as well as hydrating for the dried out skin.
Similarly a Jupiter-Moon or Venus transit can be bad for diet and increase Kapha especially if in the earth sign of Taurus.
A little spicy food with regular exercise, as well as keeping a tight vigilance on sweets and salt are suggested.
A strong Pluto/Mars transit can bring about intense energies and focus but also passionate outbursts. Stomach acidity can result, and/or frustration or headaches especially if Saturn is involved. To soften, regular meditation, cooling foods, clean diet and regular visits to the country, in the forest or by a lake, as well as avoidance of alcohol would help avoid aggravating a Pitta already stimulated.
THE ELEMENTS AND THE USE OF AROMATHERAPY
THE ELEMENTS AND THE USE OF AROMATHERAPY
In astrology, we can determine the influence of the most prominent elements in our chart and then use essential oils to balance or lower these energies. For example, a lack of fire can create a low self-esteem or too much air can make the person feel "ungrounded" or not anchored enough. Then the use of some essential oils in a massage, perfume or diffusion can be suggested.
Rosemary essential would be a great oil to wear nowadays or at least to smell regularly in this Neptunian boundaries dissolving transit. It uplift the spirits, brings inspitration, strengthen a sense of self-identity..it is very good for self-esteem and counteract general feelings of lack of purpose or apathy...
ASTROLOGICAL TRANSITS, AROMATHERAPY AND AYURVEDA
Strong transits of Uranus to Mercury, (especially if connected to 3rd or 6th houses) can bring about some nervousness or too much thinking. These kind of transits would aggravated a strong Vata constitution. Benzoin essential oil seems to be good to calm the spirits...in general, I have found resins or woody base notes to be very soothing in this regards : Patchouli, Frankincense and Sandalwood essential oils.
Frankincense, Bois de Rose and Bergamote have also strong antidepressant effects, in case of low spirited Vata, as in a Saturn Mercury transit.
Other helpful oils very good for Vata indecision, anxiety and worry are Rose Geranium and Clary Sage (Gabriel Mojay).
In the case of Moon Mercury, Moon Uranus stomach upsets or Moon Saturn, Bergamote can be very nice, also very uplifting, cheery and helps with a loss of appetite.
Another very cheery, happy digestive oil is Cardamome. It brings a very positive energy, and you can add some crushed seeds to your budum while making coffee to counteract its overstimulating effect.
During the actual transit of Saturn to Neptune, to help grounding with the spiritual emphasis we may be experiencing, the oils of Clary Sage, Vetiver and Bergamote are nice and manly too.
For congestion, water retention or strong Kapha dosha, Cypress would be a nice one to use in a diffuser or in massage oil. Frankincense can be used on strong possessive Kaphas, as it helps with overattachment.
For difficult Saturn or Uranus in the 6th houses transits, I would recommend fresh Coriander, used in salads or cooking ; even the seeds are great instead of pepper and can alleviate frustration from Mars Saturn restrictive aspects.
For other feelings related of space restriction, for example a small office space, Eucalyptus globulus… This can apply to a Saturn Jupiter, Saturn Mercury Moon kind of energy.
To stimulate a weak Moon, a Saturn Moon or Moon Pluto aspect, when a woman is going though forced feminine changes, like hysterectomy, or just natural menopause, Jasmine is wonderful. It boost confidence issues resulting from the situation.
Last, G. Mojay advises Lemon essential oil for problems related to fear of intimacy, lets say Venus Saturn, or Saturn 7th house. She says it opens the heart ; I would associate it with Bulgarian Rose, a wonderful oil for the heart chakra and Sandalwood..
Happy Holidays !

A SATURNIAN SCENT
A long time ago, I created a perfume for each astrological sign. Some were exquisite, some were more "different" in reason of their ruling planet. I read and researched, through Jeanne Rose, Scott Cunningham, The Magical use of Perfumes and so many others for planetary scents and associations. I came up with this interesting result. Every month this year, I will share a scent of the month.
Like I mentioned and quoted in a past post, Saturn is not the easiest scent to "transmute" into the realms of odours. For this scent, I first fixed a nice woody and smokey base of Oakmoss...that I sprinkled with a tad of Cypress. Cypress is definitely a Capricorn scent. I then added a dollop of Labdanum Resin (with its dark and sticky texture) it solidified the base note.
Then I went on to bring a flowery heart note with Jasmine and Neroli Absolutes. To give it a bit of personality, I spiced it up with a few drops of Coriander essential oil and crowned it with another few drops of Bergamote. If you can find it and afford it, Oud would be a very nice addition to this blend. The quantities need to be adjusted to your taste. The quality of the ingredients should be the best for the selective Capricorn.
PLANETS, WELLBEING, SKIN HEALTH AND BEAUTY
We are all connected...and planetary aspects can affect our wellbeing..For example, Mars is in Scorpio until August...the God of energy in the deepest of transformational sign is a great time for rejuvenative strategies, anti ageing treatments...getting rid of bad habits, deep cleansing and purging of all sorts..mind you, you have a few months ahead of you. Channeling the intensity at hand can reap wonderful results. During this period, meditation will help to ground but strong self care is also necessary. My favourite tools for self-care are oils, essential, infused and all other plants, nut and fruit ones. Depending which house is illuminated in your chart (contact me for more info) is where you may need to experience extra clearing and transformational energy.
You could use specific oils or incense in your meditative ritual..or just use a specific skin oil designed for your skin type.
Sun, heat, fireplaces, pollution, cold and wind can create havoc on an already stressed skin and bring further oxydative damage. With age and lower levels of estrogens, the skin looses its elasticity and fibroblasts stretch like a loose elastic.
I can create a specific skin oil for your needs, either for the face or more meditative purpose...
AROMATHERAPY and SCENTS for the PLANETS
Here is a little resume of my favorite planetary associations for the signs or planets:
Aquarius/Uranus: Neroli is a great scent to calm the unexpected Uranian flare up and anxieties...Elemi brings grounding and help raise those depleted by too much emotional energies. Both are balancing.
Neptune/Pisces: I like to associate soft or watery scents to this sensitive planet. Orris, Vanilla and the heavenly Lilac scent are all soft and subtle, but be aware that Lilac cannot be found in a essential oil; maybe enfleurage would be a way to extract its delicate scent. Musk can be a great base note, although Piscean would not like to use a scent that would have be extracted in hurting an animal. In this case, using a compound with Ambrette seeds for example would work better. Lady Sara suggests Ambergris from the Sperm whale, that is almost impossible to find nowadays; while Madini suggests Spikenard, an oil used to help release old emotional hurts.
Mars/Aries: Ginger, Coriander, Tobacco, Leather, Black Pepper are all scents related to the Mars God. They either stimulate the digestion, used as botanicals (no essential oils internally please), or blended in a massage, or just used to spice up a blend. These oils mix well with flowery oils to reduce an already exacerbed Pitta, like Ylang Ylang for example.
Venus/Taurus/Libra: Rose is of course a Venus scent; enhancing the love and heart chakra. For Taurus, I like to associate Jasmine, a truly beautiful scent, sensual and also a scent enhancing self-confidence. For Librans any kind of Roses is good, as well as Geranium and Ylang Ylang. Myrtle is also a plant associated with Venus, the Green type and was part of the very old recipe: The Angel Perfume.
Mercury/Gemini/Virgo: Lavender is definitely a Mercurial scent, as it helps to soothe an overactive mind and calms the Spirit, it is pretty good for Virgoans, as well as Fennel, a very digestive plant. Rosemary is great for mental clarity as it even helps with memory. Madini suggest Narcissus for Gemini although Narcissus can be strongly hypnotic..I also associate Fern, Storax and any fresh cut grass to Geminis… Violet Leaf is also a very green scent, fresh and invigorating that I like to add to various blends to help see a new vision on things.
Moon/Cancer: Our sensitive Moon child like soft scents like Lilies (White), white Sandalwood, Orris, Jasmine, Camphor, which is very cooling as well as Aloe Vera and Cucumbers. I do associate Lotus to the Moon also.
Sun/Leo: The Sun god is luminous and likes to shine. Chamomile is very much a Sun plant and oil, as well as Clove, Frankincense and Cinnamon. Chamomile can soothes the mind and is healing. Clove and Cinnamon are attraction oils and used in prosperity blends. Saffron a spice of kings, grown in the Sun is very royal, a s a scent, but it would need to be homemade.
Pluto/Scorpio: Scorpio, God of the Underworld is associated with dark or thicker scents, like the resinous Opoponax or Labdanum…I would also associate Agarwood to this God, and Civet. Agarwood is so rare and precious, but can elevate the lower Plutonian instints to its highest manifestation on a spiritual level.
Jupiter/Sagittarius: Our lucky and happy go lucky compares reflects philosophically on life at times, and likes to bring expansion, abundance and luck with him…Copal, Cedarwood and Oakmoss are soul elevating; I do like to associate Conifers to Jupiter like Black Spruce.
Saturn/Capricorn: Tenacious, ambitious and hard working Capricorn. This cautious sign is associated with Cypress, (an oil used to help mourn the loss of loved ones), Myrrh and Lily of the Valley (good for the heart). Madini likes to suggest White Sandalwood, a softer version of the Mysore one. Both Sandalwood and Myrrh will enhance meditation and healing.
THE COLOURS in our home or clothing
In the study of chromatherapy, the colours can affect our moods and feelings as well as our sense of comfort. Here is a little resume of colours I made a while ago in terms of how the colours we wear can affect us:
Light Green: Gives enthousiasm, a very fresh energy. A darker green brings a feeling of confidence, calm and maturity. A brighter green is regal and I like to wear it to stimulate a positive attitude. Emerald Green is a Taurean colour and enhance 2nd house as well as self-esteem issues. Turquoise or Blue-Green is more Neptunian and associated with Neptune.
Blue: Open new horizons. Light Blue gives a sense of friendliness and of someone who likes to discuss big ideas. I associate Light Blue to Libra. A soft and airy colour, that brings peace. Darker Blue has a Jupiterian influence, one of spirituality and understanding.
White: Gives a feeling of being intouchable, difficult to access or independent. It helps to keep our distance or boundaries and protects us from outside influences. A good colour to wear when you are feeling drained. It inspire spirituality and determination. For some reason I always reach out to white when I have to attend an event but I am not up to it. It brings an aura of protection and purity. White is a very Cancer/Moon colour.
Black: A good colour to wear to feel accepted and integrated as well as open to outside events. The colour can make us indifferent so it is advisable to add a touch of colour with it. A Scorpio colour.
Violet: Wear this colour if you want to express yourself and be heard. It enhances the contact with our emotions as well as their expression. Wearing purple is kind of making a statement in itself and we have a stronger emotional impact when wearing it.
A good colour to wear to attract attention or meeting new people. I associate purple to Mercury in Scorpio; Mercury-Pluto or Pluto transiting to the 3rd house transits. Indigo is more of an Aquarian nature.
Red: Light Red and Pink bring happiness and joy. Red attracts attention and helps to make an impact. pink is romantic and playful; it is a colour of seduction. Red is ruled by Mars, the colour of energy and ruler of Aries.
Orange: Orange helps to face challenges and gives determination. The stronger the colour, the stronger its effect. It is a cheery colour and enhance stability. it has a strong magnetic effect and attracts people. It is better to use in small accessories. Orange is Mercurial, because of its attractive nature and is associated with Geminis.
Yellow: A good colour for negotiation. It is very luminous but is not overbearing, favouring compromises and teamwork. A Sun/Leo colour.
Brown: A good grounding colour. It is a Virgo colour and perfect for when we need to clean, organize, be methodical and rational. It gives a good impression on a first meeting. I associate brown with Vetiver, to give a double grounding effect.
Beige: A great colour to enhance creativity. Funny, that of all the colours, this would be the one. But it works. Maybe because Beige is a blend of yellow, brown and white, combining the Sun, Moon and Virgoan energies of manifestation...
The Path of Relationships
Your chart can provide key insights to your conscious or unconscious needs in your relationships. A Scorpio rising needs to feel appreciated/validated in partnerships-relationships. Endurance/stability is important but also depends of the position of the natal Venus in the chart. In any case, the individual will be attracted to someone who has a good set of values and appreciate the pleasures of life.
On the other hand, a Leo rising needs friends, a friend; is it possible to find The friend? Or just lots of friends...He may attract detached partners, friends who come and go and the idea of detachment needs to be scrutinized. The position of the Descendant ruler is key to the type of partner, in this case Uranus.
A Cancer rising attracts or is attracted to more conventional types. They want structure and also stability. The partner could be older or colder than him. The Cancer rising may provide the emotional care that his partner lacks.
A Sagittarius rising is very much looking for mental stimulation with his /her partner; they are cheerful and like someone with who they can laugh with while conquering the world. Sometimes, there could be 2 major relationships in their life.
A Gemini rising likes variety and freedom in his relationships. He could be very much attracted to foreigners too depending on the position of Jupiter in the chart. In your search for a perfect relationship Venus-Neptune aspects especially beware, real communication could be aborted.
Look at your Moon and Venus position if you are a man; your Mars and Sun if you are a woman. The Nodes, South or North may also bring past life partners, karmic relationships and tremendous potential for growth.
South Node contacts can bring sudden recognition (past life connections).
The 7th house planets, natal or in transit are vital to the analysis. Any Solar arc transit to the Desc can bring change or a new relationship.
All synastry signs the deal.
What Holistic means to me
Holistic has become quite a fashionable word recently. I see it in all ways, and I would like to explain my version of it. First and all, I became interested quite early in Astrology which has been very helpful to understand periods of my life. Here in Quebec, Astrology has a bad press, they have been people that have abused of it in the past, and I have actually witnessed people using this kind of knowledge in a very personal and self-profitable way. It is never a good idea to do this, energetically and from an integrity value. But that is not the purpose of my post. I actually want to stress how everything is related: the Stars, the Plants, the Body, the Soul and how everything connects. To quote :" The link between astrology and medicine is ancient, Hippocrates (460-370 BC) for example investigated medical records where both the physical disease and its cure were closely linked to planetary cycles. The Swiss physician and Astrologer Paracelse, (AD 1490-1541), not only attributed body parts to signs and each organs to planets, but also catalogued planetary rulerships for many herbal medicines, precious stones and colours. He looked at the individual horoscope to reveal the cause and cure of disease, believing its origin to be of emotional-spiritual nature. Culpeper is maybe the best known Herbalist-Astrologer and he helped maintain the credence of medical astrology with the skeptical college of Physician".* My point is this: I strongly believe that a chart can reveal a lot about an individual health, and transits especially can point where the work needs to be done. I strongly believe in the link between health and the emotional and spiritual nature, and this is why I have seen such great results with acupressure. Of course, the healing success will depend of many things: the openness of the client/patient to heal and make the appropriate changes in his lifestyle; the openness to believe that he is often responsible for certain ailments; the desire to make those changes. Of course, it is not miraculous, and what works for one may be different for another, because exactly of the personal make up of the client/patient (and planets!). Energetic medicine, as well as herbal healing is not magical and if many years have created a disease, it may take some time to "undo" the unhealthy habits. But it is worth a try if health is what matters to you. I also would suggest that if you are going through a difficult phase, it could be interesting to learn about your chart, to see where the challenge may be in order to understand yourself more. Another point, is that some charts may also reveal weaknesses that are inherited and that the individual will have to compose with during his/her life. In any case, the chart can point to the strengths and less strong areas. Being aware of these is always interesting. Self-understanding is never overrated and the key to many answers.

Saturn in Pisces...
It is not unknown that I have a deep love of the sea.. many paintings in my home picture it as this one below.
The ocean, represented by Neptune in astrology, ruler of Pisces also rules over the invisible; the movies or made up realities; drugs and alcohol; the dream world and spirituality in general.
As of March 7, Saturn lord of Karma and the great structurer will come back in Pisces after about a 29 year visit.
So imagine those 2 dancing together. Put your foot there, and realize how you affect your partner type of thing. Indeed, Pisces and Neptune can rule dances in general.
As Saturn just recently did his work through your goals and associations sector; Saturn in Pisces will want to bring structure in how we feed our soul, our dreams, our unconscious mind. Because of the thin boundaries that Pisces own, Saturn will want to secure some aspects of our spirituality and actions ( especially if in a cardinal house or aspecting more Yang planets).
There is a responsibility to our thoughts and actions, first with ourselves, as if unwell we affect others with our energies, but also the implications of our actions and words toward society.
It would be important to double check information and its source ( especially if affecting communication sectors or planets) and to preserve one’s own peaceful state.
Saturn here will conscientise society toward those suffering or in need, which Pluto in Aquarius could also supply in powerful actions.
Lots of changes on the horizons.
Look also at how we may try to work with the transforming power of the oceans; the preservation of its health and also the importance to consider the use of a good water filter, because of accumulated toxins.
Saturn in Pisces asks for each of us to be aware of how we can reduce toxins in our body and mind and how our actions can be less toxic in our world.
